After Graduating from the Bezalel Academy of art and design, I worked as a grafic designer and visualizer in several advertising agencies, food companies, etc. At some point I moved on to being a graphic designer for a food photographer (Gabi Samelson), who introduced me to a client of his, Nira Rousso, a well known food columnist. She hired me to illustrate her food column, published in Ha'artz magazine. This collaboration, which lasted 14 years, was the debute of my illustrating career. Since then, I have worked as an illustrator in many of Israel's leading newspapers and magazines, and collaborated with many addvertisers and proffessionals in the food industry. My heart, however, always belonged to the art of illustrating children's books. My first chance at illustrating a picture book - "The Snow Queen" By Hans Christean Andersen, was given to me by a small publishing house called "Kinneret". Since then - I have illustrated more than 150 picture books, for children and young adults. I had 2 more encounters with H.C Andersen. In 2006 - when I was asked by a Spanish publishing house (Timun-Mas) to illustrate a full Andersen anthology and in 2008, when I recieved the Andersen citation for the book "A Yummie Story" By Avishag Rabiner (Am-Oved pub. 2007).

Between the years 1997-2012 I was a professor in several art academies in Israel (The Shenkar scool of design, The Tech institute, The Ascola-Meymad academie, to name a few). I take great pride in the success of my former students. Being a part of the tiny Israeli illustration community that was struggling for international recognition, I formed a partnership with the Israeli Ministry Of Foreign Affairs, and put together an exhibition of Israel's finest artists. The "Israillustrator" exhibition proved to be very successful and was shown in many bookfairs around the world, from 2006- 2010.Being the curator, I proudly represented the world of Israeli children's literature, giving lectures in Latin America and the U.S.A. That experience inspired me to curate a much larger exhibition, that deals with local features in Israeli picture books, illustrated between the years 1948-2014. The "Here I am" exhibition is to be exhibited, simultaniously, both in Israel and, in bookfairs around the world, starting in 2014.

I have participated in many group exhibitions and In 2010 I had my first solo exhibition in the gallery of the Zikhron-Yaakov library.

I currantly reside with my family in a tiny village in the northern part of Israel.
